Just checked my System Version - verizon.2.3.15.mb810

check for updates continues to show.."Check for update was not available at this time"

not rooted, just un modded, vanilla.

you should be on 2.3.340 (android version 2.2.1) there should be an update for you. you may want to go to verizon if you keep getting that error.

we are actually on the verge (next month maybe) of an update to android version 2.3.3.

Did you try turning off wifi? Wife's phone didn't want to update on wifi...only on 3G.

Thanks all for the replies. Ive turned off wifi, cleared the cache, etc.. still wont get the update. Guess Ill stop in at the Verizon shop. Half thinking about going to a Thunder bolt.. lately been having odd things..calls come in, but cant hear them, gmail continually force closing..

how odd.. just woke up a few ago..and my phone had a OTA notification to push 2.3.340

installed normally. hooray..

weird that it took this long to get though..but happy it came!
