What is the latest built date?

Mine is 6/19 and still has light leakage along the left side.

The problem is, unlike my palm pre that actually told you it's build date and reconditioned date if it was refurbed, no one knows what these dates on the evo mean. They could be when the specific parts were made but not necessarily when the phone was built/assembled. I wish we could get a definitive answer as to how to find the actualy build dates.

might be the date the cover was built, but i doubt that's the date for the phone.

i have hardware version 3 and my cover shows May 3rd.

My phone chassis is also stamped with that date right under the kickstand.

below my kickstand i have 100507 stamped. on the sides i have 100523 and 100507


if those are dates, something isn't right. i've definatly got hardware versin 003 per the phone settings.

so either i have a refurb or my parts were sitting on a shelf for a bit. bought the phone july 1
