Help What is the Latest

My s2 has Android version 2.3.3. Baseband version 19100XXKE7. Kernel version XWKF3-CL276555 root@DELL101 #2. Build number GINGERBREAD.XWKF3. I would like to up grade to the newest stable official software, could anyone tell me which one that is. I am on meteor ireland. Thanks

Hi Kev, lots of threads on this, basically, if you upgrade through Kies, then 2.34 is officially rolling out to selected countries but sadly not the UK right now (but soon) you can use a program to flash your firmware to the latest or you can root your phone. I am waiting for kies to update mine as I have no problems at all, today is my 2nd day on a battery charge and I still have 46% left
Also I am not sure if you can update from the phone menu OTA, maybe someone can shed more light on this.

If i flash i wonder which one should i use ( meaning which one is the latest it is all very confusing) as i dont want to use the wrong one. Bearing in mind that i am in Ireland i dont even know if that matters. Thanks.

KG5 latest official firmware to flash via odin, its 2.3.4. Ive had if for a couple of weeks, with no issues.

KG5 is the newst official and its very good. KH3 is the newest, but not official. and i really cant tell the difference after tryign both. so i guess u could stick with KG5
