Help What is the use of compression settings in TITANIUM BACKUP?

I have purchased titanium backup pro but i am little disappointed with its restore speed i mean though i use batch option i feel it is working slow. Now,when i go to preference-compression there are many compression mode and in each compression mode there is written whether-average,slow,faster and no compression...
The thing is when i select no compression mode i feel that the speed of backup and restore is much faster.....
SO DO THE NO COMPRESSION MODE SPEED UP BACKUPS AND RESTORES?

I just use the default settings for that sort of thing. Logically though, turning off compression would speed up the restoration, but that's at the expense of space on your SD Card.

No compression means the backup files are stored as is - uncompressed, hence lesser effort and time needed during in a backup and restoration process. If you prefer speed over space, meaning you are not concerned about the bigger size of the backup files, then you should choose the "no compression" setting. Compressed backup files occupy lesser space but take more time backing up and restoring your files.
