What is this application?

Today I wanted to uninstall one application from my user applications. I saw one application for the first time. It is called Android System 3.06.01 dated xxx version xxxx. Please refer to the attachment.
I don't know what is this system application in my user applications? It has a lot of permissions also. When I went to application info, I saw two buttons. One with "force stop"and another with " uninstall updates" like system applications.
Your opinion will be greatly appreciated.

If you select the "All" tab in the Settings -> Apps menu you will indeed see this particular system application (everyone has it) and it's part of core Android (I believe it's com.android.systemui, but not 100% sure yet--still researching that). edit: it's apparently not the system UI but is core Android.

I can't imagine that this is a rogue process unless you've installed something that's trying to spoof an Android system app.

As scary said and it's a scary feeling if you delete that app or modify it in any way shape or form . are you rooted and what app was you trying to install or uninstall . what device are you speaking about .

Thanks to all of you for coming to help.
This phone, a coolpad halo 9976A, I am using for almost 2 years now. I have installed and uninstalled many applications but for the first time I have seen this application in MY USER APPLICATIONS. That's why I am worried. If it was in my system applications then I would not have worried.
And yes I am rooted.
