Help What is this....?

What is the blue lense (or what looks like a lense) to the left of the Verizon logo? I thought this thing had a front camera on it when i first got it and thought that was it. But the diagram does not tell what it is. Maybe a light sensor?

You have a light and proximity sensor on the front yes

One is a light sensor the other is a proximity sensor.
