My exercise routine is probably abhorrent compared to most of you - I have an exercise bike set up in my living room. Every morning after work I pedal away on it for 45 minutes or so while watching some Netflix or Hulu Plus. Two or three times a week I try to sneak in another 20 minutes or so in the evenings.
I've only been doing this for a little bit, but I'm already starting to slim back down - hopefully my progress sticks!
I don't know how you people can do gyms or running. I have to say those are probably the most boring ways to exercise.
I play sports to exercise.
I also thought that lifting weights and running would be boring, but I was surprised to discover that I like it! Pushing your limits and seeing progress is great.
That's not a form of exercise, or at least it shouldn't be.

If you do it right you can burn more calories than you'd imagine.
I have a treadmill that I run on just about every night while I watch the news. Plus we (whole family) uses the Wii Fit and Active which really does a great job.
Are there girls working out in spandex or steam rooms on the soccer field?

I'll be doing hot... pole dancing.
I'm a street jogger and I usually jog in the spring and summer. I jog everyday for 4km or every other day for 8km. I did my first quater marathon this year, which will be an annual thing. I do stretch and ab work for 20 minutes each day before I jog.
Now that it's getting cold, I'm going to try to replace jogging with weights. I'm not a big fan of gyms but I do like to do work out classes. For the fall and winter, I'll be trying out Bikram yoga and pole dancing. Other sport exercise I like but have not done in ages is rock climbing and Muay Thai kick boxing.
Favourite exercise is jogging...after I build up my endurance. It's cheap and I don't have to work by someone else's schedule.

I'm serious it is supposed to be really good and fun workout not a career move.
I think everyone should do pole dancing.
As for me I don't like to "work out". To me it's wasted energy. My side job is side jobs, hehehe. I do additions, decks, basements etc. My favorite workout is drywall. It's fast paced with weights and lots of stabilizing movements.
But I guess in traditional terms....I love an evening walk with my wife and dog around the lake.
