What it feels like to lose weight?

Kudos to anyone that has or is working at losing weight. It is a constant battle between the love of food and drink and the ideal healthy weight. It's nothing but work and I admire anyone working at it. Food and drink are engineered to entice and for the most part are unhealthy.

I stop drinking sugary sodas years ago and never looked back. Everytime I see someone drinking a normal soda i just want to ask them why?
I haven't had a soda since the early seventies. I quit drinking my tea with sugar. It's been so long ago that I now deplore any sort of sweet beverage.

I was probably in my teens when I was around 200 lbs. My highest was over 400 lbs over 25 years ago. Slowly, but surely I broke the 250 lb threshold, this year.
I've had OSA since before I retired, Chief. The sleep DR has been pleased with my progress over the years too. My GP has me taking my blood pressure nightly. He's more concerned about my diabetes ATM. I have a sore on one of my bunions and even when my diabetic shoes it rubs and doesn't want to heal.
It's been 27 years since I had my first hip surgery, so my days of too much walking are long gone.

But, ol' Grumpy is still kicking. Just not very high.
