What kernel? Help!

Hi,

Planning to use this method to root

BUT not sure what unsecure kernel I need.

I have done the *#1234# thing and it says:

PDA: 19100BUKE5
PHONE: 19100BUKE1
CSC: 19100VODKE2

Which one gives the right info? Phone, PDA or CSC?

I'm using KF2 on mine.

Hi, so is your phone's info the same as mine, and so I can use KF2?

PDA: 19100BUKE5

I thought that if the PDA was "..KE5" then I must use the kernel KE5 for rooting.

OR can I use KF2?

IT's a bit more confusing than when I did it with my X10 Mini Pro!

I get page not found when clicking your link so I dont know what guide you are using?
I can recommend this one:
[29.06.2011][CF-Root v4.0] KE2/7/8, KF1/2/3/4 - su+bb+CWM4 - xda-developers

You can use any Kernal off here to root and it will work, I recommend using the latest one.

sorry for stupid question but how do you find out what the latest one is?

Its the one at the bottom, KF3 I believe. I am using KF2 at the minute.
