What keyboard do you use?

i'll give Swype a go but the whole Beta thing seems like an issue? Is it a litmited time beta as it in ceases to work in say 3 months? or that they only want a certain number of people to d/l and try it out?

I had been using Swype that I found on the internet which was pretty useless. Just seen this thread and checked back at the Swype site to see the beta is now "open". New version seems much better, although the noise is quite annoying.

Swype.

When I saw the adverts on the internet, I thought it was set up, but honestly, it's the easiest and fastest way to type on a mobile phone that I've tried.

Noise? mine is silent.

Swype has to be the most illogical yet oddly, perfectly logical thing I have ever seen. Both at the same time.

I'd also like to add to the swype love. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it's brilliant.

just went through the links above to download swype, got as far as recieving the e-mail from swype, clicked the link and it said 'sorry, you are not using an android device' :( last time I checked the desire was very much an android device!

I have just started using swype on my desire and early thoughts are that its fantastic.
Very quick once you get used to it.

Thanks for all the comments on this thread. For some reason the instant email notification hasn't been working of late so I wasn't aware of all the comments. It certainly looks like Swype is becoming popular.

Aha! Sussed it, thanks @markg.

Had a bit of a play with a few trial texts and pretty impressed with the accuracy of the thing.

Am trying Swype ,but i dont know qwerty layout well enough to remember where the letters are ,when obscured by my fat fingers.
