what micro sd card?

I picked up a PNY 32Gb class 10 card at BestBuy and it's working great. Fast and lots of room for my music, etc. It's one of those things where it is a MicroSD but comes with the larger SD card that it plugs into as well. This is nice because my laptop has a slot for the larger SD card-form, so I can take it out of the phone, copy files to/from and then put it back in the phone without using the slower USB cable. The card costs about $85, but I got it on sale for about $20 less, so shop around.

so that being said, what brand of card do you recommend (in terms of reliability)

Hint, class 10 memory is overkill on a cell phone:

I picked up a sandisk 16gb for 6$ on amazon, works fine. If you ever plan on rooting your phone I would look for a micro sd card that comes with an adaptor.

I'm still rockin the Topram 16gb class 4 I had in my prev phones. Even with 700+ songs and other crap, still have a little less than 10 gb left, and it works fine.

I wasn't disappointed at all. I haven't had an sd for a year on my Nexus S and between picasa, Google music, and drop box how much storage do you really need. Internal is more than enough.

I stuck some 2gb sd in mine that I found around my house just because I could. Adding any sd just seems like overkill on this phone though.

I’m very new to android, but my understanding we can run our apps from our micro SD card?

You shouldn't. If you move apps to sd widgets no longer work and an sd will always be slower than internal. There is way more than enough internal space to store all the apps you could want on this phone.

i'm using a sandisk 32gb class 4

i also use this card. $32 shipped from 1dalesale.com a month or so back. Even though it's only class 4 it is plenty fast for anything you will need. If recording video, it's best to record to internal phone memory.

it comes with a 16gb card built in !! and you can add an ADDITIONAL card so pop another 16gb card in it and you now have 32gb !! sweet.

and its not a $200 phone its a $500-$600 phone. I would be hoarding them if I could get them for $200. you got it on contract for $200 (sweet deal !!!)

you have 11.50 gb as "usb storage) and another 1.61gb as "internal memory"

so a bit over 14gb or the same as a 16gb Micro SD card. built right in.

I can't wait to shove a 32gb card in it "just because" I would then have a phone with 48gb of space :-)
