Root What Not To Do After Rooting

Qogi

Lurker
Alrighty. Perhaps this is obvious, but I was wondering: What shouldn't you do on a Marquee after rooting it (so as to not screw up the rooted state of the phone)?

For example, under System Update (Settings> About phone), what should I never touch under there, in order for the phone to remain rooted?

Stuff like that is what I would like to know. Thanks.

Would help to know what SW version you're running. If it's ZVC/ZV4, you should be fine, but ZV9/ZV3 are old versions and you will get pestering updates until you do the upgrade with one of the rooted roms in here.
To be safe, don't touch anything but Update PRL and Update Profile.

To answer the OP

Do not install a rooted file explorer and then start deleting stuff before you know exactly what it does without first making a CWM backup.
