I myself was an iPhone user... both tried the 2g and the new 3g iphone. sold the 2g for the 3g, and now the 3g will be going back on ebay since I bought the android.

I had the Dash for the past year and a half and I loved it. It was just getting worn out about the time the G1 was coming out so it seemed to work out perfectly.

Oh man. I have had just about all of them. I tend to get a phone as soon as it comes out. Right now, I am useing the Shadow. A good phone I must say. Before that I had the wing, dash, MDA, several Blackberrys, a few razr's. some nokias...........and so on and so on. Lol! Thank god for ebay or I would be drowning in phones.

I was rocking the original BB Curve for 2 years. Was *thoroughly* impressed with it. The original battery was still going strong after 2 years of heavy use. But...it was due for retirement and like shivers said...can't miss out on being part of a revolution

Moto e815

Used it for almost 4 years. Damn thing won't die. Still has better features then some of my firends "new" phones. The G1 makes them look like they're using the old school moto "brick".

Blackberry Curve, Have been a blackberry user for years, making the leap on faith and hope like hell that this phone will not let me down!

I love getting in early so I lived on Sidekicks for a long time, then to Helio's Ocean, then I had to forego my lust for early adoption for work with a BB before the G1.

After perusing through this site, I have come to the conclusion that most members last phone was either a SideKick, Blackberry, Treo, or iPhone. For some this is their first smart phone. By determining from where we come, developers can determine what type of apps we are used to and they might fill that void.

I'll start. My last phone was a Palm Treo 680.

My favorite apps on that platform were BeCrossword, pssh, BibleReader, Power48 (Hewlett-Packard RPN Calc emulator), GoogleMaps, VoiceMemo, AudioGateway (for A2DS bluetooth stereo audio streaming), mOcean/pTunes (for mp3 playback) and CallRec (great for when driving).

Dash - I hated everything about it except that I could tether it.

* I should say I hated the OS. The hardware was great.
