What ringtone are you using right now? (SMS)

Ringer: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Wife: Darth Vader Theme song
Alerts: Was R2D2; Light Saber, National Weather Service Warning Sound (That annoying NEEEP-NEEEP-NEEEP) Now it's just the phone warp sound. I really like some of these, might be changing soon.....Good Post and thread.
 
May as well fly the Nerd Flag as well. I have the Tardis sound effect as my default ringer. As I work in a computer repair shop, in a computer retail store, I use it as a test to filter out the Geek Wannabees.... ;)

All my contacts have custom ringers I have either collected or custome trimmed using Audacity

hehe, i have the tone from kim possible on her little phone-thingy. I've used it for a couple years now though, Im in need for a change that still makes everyone laugh
 
Custom SMS sound: the opening guitar riff from a song called "Hoods A GoGo" by a Philly club band from the 80's (and back playing again) named Beru Revue. Consists of 13 short guitar notes. Used Rings Extended for it as Ringdroid made a hash of it.

Default ring tone: Song called "Be Careful Tonight", same band.

For one friend I use a Ray Charles song he used to sing at Karaoke... ;)

Email is Star Trek Communicator (had to go geeky somewhere)

Weather Emergency on Weather Channel app is Star Trek Computer Error sound.

Made my hubby a cool ringtone with the Muppets Yip Yip Martians telephone bit. (bbbrrrriiing!! Yip, yip!)
 
I use the alarm clocks from the beginning of Pink Floyd's "Time". Its nice and loud.

Unless, my wife calls, then it's Billy Joel's "Always a woman to me"
 
a few phones ago i had "Gathering Crowds" - which is the theme song from This Week in Baseball. I loved that show in the late 70's ... I bet any baseball fan in his/her early 40's (like me) would recognize it and couldn't help but smile when hearing it...

Ahhh, usually have to change the tile of the mp3
check what format and change if needed

I just went into the attachment (little paperclip) when posting, wait for the window to open as it can take a while> browse file>upload the picture or in this case, the sound file. Then close that window (manage attachments window) and go back into the paperclip and select the uploaded content. Not sure if you did it this way or not. The problem could be the kind of file you are attempting to attach, not really sure, sorry. Mine were MP3's.
