I am Using MIUI the one on XDA or Whatever But i like it so far I Love the CM9 Just wish you guys can get the Camera Working. I was using CM9 since like 6.2 but i always like wish i had my camera working to take funny videos or pics of Something.

Other then that CM9 Is Awesome so is MIUI the one i got the Camera works.

My ROM:MIUI Cool Icons and really fun to get different Themes.

My Fav ROM: CM9 i just like it so Much! haha

Thanks to the people that are making it.

yeah idk about XDA, man. their rom info is usually a few days to a few months late.

this forum has the newest stuff, and this seems to be where the devs post new info FIRST, before it filters to other forums.

if your running the MIUI from XDA, i really feel for ya. looks like it hasnt been updated in forever.

you know a miui rom exists with a LOT of bugs fixed, right??? should check out this forum more, especially if you have a triumph XD

on that note, CM9 is awesome but i use my camera too often.

I like our most recent MIUI version (ported from miuis official 11-25 build). its actually very stable, fast, smooth, everything i could want in a rom. I wish it had rotation animations, and for that reason alone. im back on TG CM7 (newest build)

once the camera is figured out on CM9, ill be sticking with that as my daily and just updating it when they do. everything else about it is good enough for daily use anyways, even if the devs dont want to admit it, by calling it an alpha.

I'm using TG's CM7 B.08 with the latest version of the OC Kernel.

I tried whyzor's version of cm7, but I found it buggier and I didnt think the improvements were worth the new issues.

I have been playing with Mantera's CM9 rom, but don't think it's quite ready for full time use. They are doing an amazing job on it though.

I tried MIUI a while back but didn't like the look and feel of it. Didn't feel as snappy as CM7 to me and I didn't like how it felt like an apple product. I see the appeal though.

I use Tickerguy's CM7 Beta 8 FINAL because I wanted gingerbread at the time and I have no desire to do a data wipe/factory reset to use any other ROM.

I am using TG-Reloaded Rom for the statusbar widgets and extra saving battery life and the ICS CM7 theme via the market.

latest build i have installed is 2-16 or whatever in feb. All i do is download the zip via my phone and save to sd card. Then reboot in recovery mode. Wipe Devl and other cache(s). Install package from zip...then install google apps again like talk and gapps (not sure if i need to but its works and i know its fresh). Then reboot and within a cool 3 to 4 mins i have my same exact desktop with all working programs and settings with the new update. I follow the instructions on how to do it and it works perfectly. I also have an ftp app installed that syncs a folder on my driod to a folder on a hd that is attached to my netgear router via usb. I use clockwork mod and backup my existing install/OS (so to speak) and then sync the clockwork mod folder with the router hd. Then i download the other mods that are mentioned here for testing. If i dont like them then i do a factory wipe and restore from backup and i am exactly as i was in less than 4 mins. These over clocked truimphs are beasts. I am very impressed. I do like this cm7 series the best though. As mentioned this forum and cm7 updates the fastest. It is also the fastest running, has the most options and best of all...can be tweaked for any user regarding how the user likes or wants the phone run. For example, if someone wants this to be completely visual and perfectly smooth in everything it does which matches the iPhones perfcormance...it can be done. If the user would rather the fastest thing on the planet...it can be done. If a user wants to extend battery life to 2 days...yes it can be done and I have done it to prove it (i used it for texts and phone calls only and lots of them and just shy of 2 days it powered itself off.) Of course I tweaked all the lovely and numerous settings to achieve this. The triumph itself is so easy to mod. It cooperates very well with usb cables and pcs, as well as backing up and restoring images. It doesnt brick easily or even throw errors regarding boot images, backing up, restoring and those hair raising, potentially fatal tasks into ones i do while i eat dinner. If the image you throw on it is crap then it may not run of course. But recovery flawlessly always works regardless. I even found a vmware linux emulator image zip that I threw on this phone. It was supposed to come on and boot into tiny modded linux, which it did oddly enough, and then run a scaled vmware linux workstation install. Which is kind of did. The basics of the program were there but options that were clicked didn't link up to any actions on the phone. Like clicking a button that does nothing but go up and down. It was also to hunt down network shared drives for vmware vmx files or whatever vmware ext is. That didnt work but i manually pointed it and it did A)have network access and B) did see the other share and was able to 'mount' the network folder at least in the sense that it visually appeared written in text in the program. I couldnt access the drive or do anything with it though. So hey, mad props to the phone. Devs can write crap half assed apps that loop without control or routine ends or nutin and this phone just goes with the flow without bombing out. try that on a samsung! HAHAHA. Yes, i love cm7 and this motorola. As soon as the other cm's (9 etc) become good I will be switching over. Right now too much crutial crap doesn't work...like the camera! Thats a serious deal breaker for now. But, keep your eyes open because one day you know it will be WORKING!!! Thanks for reading y'all! :)
