Root What ROM(s) are you rocking?

It is still early but more and more alphas and betas are popping up so I am wondering what people are trying. I have only tried SlimRom and it runs very well. I only run it for the ability to force the volume buttons to always control the media volume.

Receiving my N6 tomorrow, going to root right away but will probably stick with Lollipop for awhile.

I'd love to stick with stock lollipop but with the phone size I kept changing the ringer volume while it was in my pocket or while I was taking it out. That caused major issues with me missing work related calls so something had to give. Thankfully I found a good ROM that allowed me to change the volume buttons.

I need Sprint's PRL/Profile options working, which isnt the case for most AOSP based ROMS unless they include the stock blobs and not the AOSP ones. Haven't found one that works yet but I also haven't tried too many.

That's because those proprietary blobs aren't included in AOSP. You can thank Sprint for that :p

It's the same situation on Hammerhead.

Yeah, I remember that from hammerhead. I'm looking into it. In the process of building a ROM from AOSP right now.. Once I'm sure I have everything setup right I'll work on getting it incorporated

I tried it but it did seem very stable to me. I always struggled with DU for some reason so I'm sure it is user error, although I don't have the issues with other roms.
Ran it on my N5 and really enjoyed it. Been running now on my N6 for about 10 days, no issues so far and it is really fast. So far I am extremely happy with it. Oh...thanks for the reply! :)

I've stuck with stock + franco kernel since 5.1 dropped. I'm swamped with life at the moment and just havent had the time to flash ROMS.

I am a BIG user of DU :)
I had it on my N5 and now have 5.1 on my N6.
Works 100% for me and the help you get from the devs is awesome.

The rom gives me tons of choices and is user friendly for me.

Wouldn't necessarily say that it's a requirement to fully wipe as many do not, but we'd prefer that people do before reporting any issues :)

I just installed Chroma last night and I like it a lot. Immediately got about a 20% battery boost in my screen on time for the day. Plus a lot of cool things to fiddle with. Greenify and Wakelock Detector I don't recall being out when I had my last Nexus device so I've been tinkering to see if I can even eek some more life out of it. I'd forgotten how awesome owning a Nexus device is.
