Root What ROM suits me?

Are there any ROMs that are just rock solid stable with Gingerbread or ICS? I want something really fast, minimal, and customizable.

I need the GPS, Wi-Fi Tethering, Camera, the works working.

So far I'm looking at MIUI and CM7 Reloaded.

Anything that makes the other stand out? I really don't like the Iphone wannabe look on the MIUI...assuming you can change that?

Either CM7 g60style once r0.9 is out (it's more updated than CM7 Reloaded, in fact it's the successor), or MIUI RePortaled (not the old out-of-date one).

I was just reading into the g60style actually funny you mention that.
Whats the difference between the MIUI Reportaled and the g60style?
 
I really prefer MIUI over all the other roms. Sure it may be the "iPhone wannabe" rom but, you can theme it and what not. My MIUI actually looks like ICS right now. Only draw back I've seen from it is there is no app drawer.

There isn't supposed to be an app drawer in MIUI, and its not an "iPhone Wannabe" other than the fact it has all the icons on the home page.
 
I enjoy MIUI RePortaled V2. It seems to work great, minus a few minor things (Draw Something notifications don't always show up, stuff like that.) Its a nice ROM though. I have a honeycomb theme going on, it's nice.
 
G60 built from source big +. things have been fixed and can continue to get developed but really smooth.
Gsixties the bees knees. Unless you dont mind no camera then cm9 others are a little ruff but have some cool twists. as for 2.2 roms idk i just keep a backup of stock incase a hdmi cable falls from the sky.
 
Miui is a fantastic ROM, to be honest that is where I started when I first loaded up my Triumph. Since then I have dabbled in CM7 TG, ICS, TG-Reloaded, ICS, and now g60. The big difference in the ICS ROM's is no camera. While they are sexy and smooth it may not be for you if you need the cam. On GB ROM's I would recommend g60, or one of the variants of g60 that other devs have put out because it's still being developed.

My whole thought process on this ROM is based on community. I design it based on what the forum wanted. While Miui is slick the GB version is no longer updated. My choice for you...try them all and see which one fits the bill. There is a lot of quality dev's on this board and each one of them has played a part in making the MT a solid device to use and to keep using!

The fact that all the icons are now rounded squares is enough for me to call it that. It is an opinion though, and we are each entitled to our own.

Yeah looks like I'm def using your G60 ROM. This should be fun :nurse:
 
I actually have a folder of ROMS on my phone. Two MIUI (RePortaled and Austries MIUI) and a bunch of stock, minimal, and CM7 ones. My ROM depends on my mood haha! I really like Austrie's MIUI at the moment, I don't care about the camera feature :D
 
You can actually have an app drawer with miui...just try different launchers. I mainly use go launcher ex with all the roms I use and when you use that launcher on miui it creates an app drawer. It also has the most customization I've seen in any launcher like different themes. I use an ICS theme that's pretty sick but just thought I would let you guys know you can have an app drawer on miui.
