Root What ROM?

what he said but for the TPS (ps: you and smooth b were one of my favorite rap groups back in the day). TPS the first one tried and havent had a reason to try anything else yet.
 
Ya but i hate having to reset all my settings, so if one is a lot better i would rather just know, if not i'll try them both

unfortunately,what is "best" is largely a matter of personal taste,and what runs best on your particular device. we cant pick one for you.

just a thot:
you CAN try a rom for a day or to without going back through a 100% re-setup,if you have a complex homescreen layout or something. with titanium backup its easy to restore all of your apps and their data,so you wont have to do without them. use it for a day,if you like it,finish the setup. if you dont,then move on.

thats the beauty of nandroid backups... if you dont like something,then you can pickup exactly where you left off.

to each his own,but a big part of the reason i rooted was the fun of trying a few different roms.
 
What kind of battery life improvement have you guys seen with the ROMs/kernals you're running?

Damn, that's the biggest reason why I'd root right now. I may just wait until free hotspot is over and then root.
 
I've actually has significant battery improvement using Bamf 4.3b kernel and just switched to Bamf 4.4.2 kernel yesterday, took my phone off charger this morning at 6am when I woke up, its 6:47pm now, still have 43% battery left, played angry birds for 45 minutes, been on a couple of forums, check the sports scores every hour and constantly check ebay for other items I collect. Also have 3 emails sync'ing all day.
 
I love the the clean design of Teslo Coil 1.5. So far I am in love with that rom. All of the sudden I dont miss sense at all.

i liked that rom alot,also. i ran 1.1 and had some texting issues. may have to give it another go around :)
