Root What Rom.......

Just wanted to know what rom is the best for my prevail good and stable and it wont freeze when making and hanging a call can anybody help me with this...:confused:
 
from all that everyone posts, every rom works differently on each phone. like overclocking. also i think that people mess up their own phones. they install apps and stuff wrong or just corrupt from one rom to another. so take it all in and then try and see for yourself. some who says theirs is great may not work on yours the same way.
 
true, but for its the time its been out there, cm9 is not too damn shabby. i had it on my phone for like 4 days before i went back to stock.
 
Ya got CM7, CTmod and 187~Mod.. Along with some really cool Japanese ported ROMs and CM9 Kang..
Also Half-ass ROM, which is a stock version with ext4 support

All of which are neat in their own way.. Which one is better?

That's your call, bud..

i ran it for about two days.its almost to the point where it could be used as a daily driver for me,but im like a flashaholic.im always searching for best battery life,although it seems i can never get more than a 12 hour charge.:confused:
 
Depends on whether you want speed or customization. CTMod is blazing, CM7 lets you customize more and easier.
 
I think I've settled on Joy OS CM7. I've tried em all and it's the one I've had absolutely no issues with whatsoever. Shame it's a iOS wannabe, god I hate Apple with every fiber of my being :p
 
I've ran CTmod and CM7 since the day they were made available for download and you can't go wrong with either one of them. I've also ran most of the others in here and they are awesome ROMs too. My advice would be to try them out and see for yourself which one works best for you.
 
I have tried them all (except for excel prevail and lewa os) and for now im sticking with ctmod. It's super fast, and i have it set up to where the battery life is about the same as on a stock ROM
 
I have I best luck with ctmod. I like cm7 also. I have tried all the roms and they all have something good to offer.
