Root What ROMs work with hboot 1.4?

I was recently told that the hboot is what determines what ROMs you can flash and since I'm limited to the hboot provided by Leslie's radio fix, I wonder, what ROMs can you flash with hboot 1.4?

You are not required to stay on the ENG hboot after you flash a new radio, it is only required for that process. You are free to flash a new hboot once that is done, so your rom choice depends on what hboot you decide to use. Someone correct me if I am wrong on this.

So it would be okay to reflash hboot 1.5? Would that be enough for me to reflash the VM Shooter ROM with the new radio fix since its all based on hboot?

The eng hboot 1.04 is required for aosp roms like cm9 and such, the alternative to aosp are sense based roms, which can also be flashed with the same hboot, minus few like venom (don't remember what type that was atm) and sense 4.0 roms I think which require the 1.57 or higher hboots, I ran mobsters on both hboots fine, while you would not be able to run cm9 on newer hboots, so yeah your able to switch then as you please just make sure what you flash after is compatible

In addition to AOSP roms for this phone, the older hboot also allows you to run pretty much any Sprint Evo 3D rom (without mms)

Unless a rom requires a newer hboot I'll always recommend the downgrade
