Help What should I do about ma screen?

Ma friend accidentally smashed my Triumph between the car door and now I can't see the screen. What should I do? Am I able to change the screen and it should work? >_<
 
I moved this to the General section since it isn't root related ;).

I would call up VM and tell them what happened and see if they will replace it first before doing anything. Now they don't have to replace since technically it's your fault and in no way a hardware failure, but it's still worth a try. If they decide not to replace it then you are going to have to buy a LCD and a digitizer from the looks of it and replace it. I can find some links for you if you would like.
 
I contacted them and said they would send a replacement phone! ^_^ but omg wth? The live advisor said I cannot swap phones and use my old one until the replacement arrives >_< stuck staring at a blank phone for a few days?? I don't get why I can't use my handy dandy Optimus V with a massive 3600mAh battery (loved the two day battery life) until it comes.

Well atleast your getting the replacement, Virgin Mobile is pretty fast at getting replacements out to customers.

They're pretty flexible with replacements.

But you can't swap your phone because it'll mess the system up, so just listen.

Did you tell them the truth about what happened or did you make something up?

Just dropped a dish on my phone and the screen cracked

Edit: Called them yesterday and told them what happened and they're sending me a replacement lol
