OK so im in kind of a delema here. First off i have a droid eris that is rooted and running pretty nice. I have an upgrade in october so a upgrade to a new LTE phone soon is out of the question. I am planning to buy an Incredible from a friend, and i was wondering if it is as good as a droid X or Droid pro? Should i go ahead and buy the phone or wait it out and get a good price on a LTE phone in october?

I went from an eris to an incredible and i am so glad i did. It is completely worth it. I would say go ahead and get the incredible.
My old rooted/OCed eris can't compare to even a stock incredible!
It is also very supported by both developers and verizon/htc. It is expected to be one of the first HTC phones to be upgraded to 2.3 (to be clear, not the very first htc phone, but the first to be upgraded from older version).

It should take less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I am not very tech savvy and I was able to do it very easily.
