Root What should I do???

OK, I my LG Ally is on 2.1 update 1 rooted, I tried to unroot my lg ally and it unrooted but it left the Superuser Permissions App, so i rerooted using Universal Androot but it failed, so i used SuperOneClick 1.5 (i think its 1.5) and its rooted but when a try to flash ANY ROM it gives me the Android guy with the exclamation mark. I want to go on stock and go to 2.2.... What do I do next? :confused:

Please Help :)
 
dude, use one of the methods to get your phone to v6. death posted one. Trident posted one with a full way to get to froyo. READ MAN

Well many people have used those methods, including me, to get 2.2.1 with root and custom recovery. Those methods are the only way, right now, to get root and custom recovery. You can't root 2.2.1 once already there, for now I imagine. Reach out to the IRC if you need help. Plenty of Devs and very helpful, knowledgeable people who can guide you.
