Hi All,
I am having trouble deciding which phone I should upgrade to. I plan on buying my next phone outright so I don't have to change my plan, as I am on a really good plan at the moment.

I am debating either the new Google Nexus 5X or the Galaxy S6, both have really good merits, However like everything in life both come with their own pros & cons, I like the price point of the Nexus and offers decent specs, but is lakcking somewhat in the areas I find important.

Main use for my phone is social media, texting, photos, and sometimes videos on youtube.

what do you experts out there think or do if you were me?

You say that the Nexus is lacking in areas you find important, but don't say what those are. It might help people if we did know, since we'd be able to respond more appropriately.

The areas I find that the nexus lacks in is graphics and camera specs, I am looking for something that has a good camera and powerful display.

But don't confuse camera specs with camera quality. The S6 does have a very good camera, as good as you can get on a phone right now, but have you seen actual shots from the Nexus?

There's a lot more to camera quality than pixel count, and the Nexus camera uses significantly larger pixels than most phone cameras (which all else being equal means better light collection and less noise). If it's been implemented well (and I've not seen the results yet) it could actually be rather good. So I'd suggest judging it on the results rather than the specs - which would however mean waiting until we see how well it works in reality! If you want it now then the S6 is a safe bet.
