What text app do you use?

I'm looking to change text apps. I was using Handscent, but it can't handle MMS messages (send or receive). I moved on to Go SMS Pro, and it was really nice, but now it doesn't support contact pics, so I've accidentally texted people a few times, they all look the same (stock icon). Some people who's pics I added manually work, but the auto-import from FB and other social networks isn't working in Go SMS Pro, I've contacted them twice and had one update, but it's still not working.

Only features I really care about are: support for automatic contact pics, support for MMS and some sort of 'dark' theme that won't blind me.

Try Pansi, it's kinda nice. And the dark theme you can choose from rocks.

Loyal handcent user for a few years now. Only ever had the MMS issue back on my Intercept

I personally Chomp SMS. Customizable, user friendly and looks great. Haven't used anything else for a couple years. Plus, it uses profile pics as you mentioned. The free version has ads at the bottom, but that hasn't bothered me one bit.

would love the stock app if only i could change to a dark theme. any solution welcome. until then its go sms for me
