Help What the heck: voicemail?

So I've been told that my voicemail is not set up. Coming from the iPhone, I have no idea to do anything with voicemail without the visual voicemail.

So how do I set up voicemail on the Inspire?

And also, can we have visual voicemail??? - Its so much better and I am very used to it from the iPhone.

Download Google Voice or any other of the visual voice mail options.

Since you came from an iPhone, you have to call AT&T customer service or go into a store and they will do it for you. The iPhone uses visual voice mail service that differs from the traditional voicemail service. You just have to call in and have them reset and then set up your voice mail. Also, I've heard good things about the visual voice mails apps on the market.

AndroidZombie is correct. You need to call AT&T to have them setup your voicemail for a non-visual voicemail phone.

Or, like many others, I use YouMail, which allows you to access your voicemails from your phone or PC with a phone interface very similar to the iPhone's VVM.

Ditto to the OP. I came from Sprint with the EVO and this was default. I found it out the same way. I think Google Voice will be my choice.
