What was your last purchase?

A freshly made egg salad sammich for wifey from her favorite sammich shop, and a large cup of cold chamomile tea.

Roku. Hoping to cut my cable out, or at least down...I'll probably keep the minimum broadcast basic for local stations. It works well so far for Netflix and MLB.com, promising start!!

Having cable is way overrated. As long as you have a fast enough internet connection, you can pretty much watch whatever you want online.

And at the same time, you don't have to put up with the constant reruns, commercials and inflated rates. Best of all, that's more money in your pocket. :)

Bought this to clamp my camera to a door frame. Gets me higher than the the tripod can,and hence above the dancers that get between me and the band; it's also good for clamping to walls and door frames where there's a timber floor that bounces when people walk past...

Four packs of crackers and a couple of tubs of sweet potato and cashew dip.

To be eaten in conjunction with salami and triple cream brie.

Maybe my standards are too high, here's a pic of my favourite pizza, from a franchise called Crust Pizza. It's a Moroccan Lamb pizza, they're $24, as opposed to around $10 for a Dominos. You get what you pay for...

Lamb pizza? Hmm, I wouldn't mind trying it once at least. But in the US, some of THE best pizza we'd have to offer would come from New York or Chicago at an actual pizzeria, not from some chain like Domino's.

'Gourmet' pizzas have become quite the thing here the last ten years or so, anything from Thai chicken (with snow peas, peanut sauce and basil) to the Moroccan lamb that I love.
