Root What would happen if I did this?

I need to return a phone that still has S-off. I can not reroot the phone to apply the Unrevoked S-On tool. (Long story, suffice it say I can't. Thread here: http://androidforums.com/incredible-all-things-root/216755-help-me-get-s-again.html)

With S-off I can still apply a PB3Img.zip. I just can't add the clockwork mod to apply the S-on. So, what would happen if I renamed the unrevoked-forever-son.zip to PB31IMG.zip and let the phone load that? Would it turn Security back on and not mess up the image?

no, you can't rename the S-on file, it would fail signature verification, it HAS to be loaded with clockwork.
