So, I'm trying to understand what you have to be in order to change what, and let me know if I have this right. Please 
Totally locked:
/data
/cache
Bootloader unlocked:
/system (have to root after unlocking)
/boot (This is the one I'm not sure about)
S-OFF:
/HBOOT
/radio
Everything else
There's another question I have about /boot and the bootloader, but one step at a time
