ZachMob, I agree with you. This isn't 2+ years ago. Google/Android is in a completely different realm now then they were two years ago.

I also can't believe I feel compelled to submit incident tickets to the android development group. Don't get me wrong, I love the "community" of android, but, I was expecting a little more with ICS. There are so many minor bugs that when looked at individually, yes it's minor - no show stoppers here, but, when you put them all together it's a bit distracting to the overall experience and usability of the device/OS.

And, so, this is why I got a nexus, to be first in line for updates. I just wish they spent more time and money with testing.

I still dont understand why a "bug" like dropping data when other devices don't should be embraced as part of the experience of owning a flagship device. I agree that being an early adopter of a new device with a new OS will come with bugs, but having basic function such as not dropping signal is a real big deal.

Again I point to Antennagate. The truth of the matter is, no matter how meticulous the R&D (and Apple is the best in the business), bugs even seemingly obvious ones will make it through. That isn't the point I'm trying to make however, the point I'm trying to make is that the Nexus was never ever designed to be a phone that is idiot proof (idiot in this context meaning general public) it is first and foremost a development device. Thus why each of you has a full on development menu in the settings, something that will not be present on another Android handset.

Uzza is right, the phone is meant to be a testing bed for the development of ICS. Gotta take the good with the bad, and if you don't want to, there are many other great handsets out there to choose from.
