Just froze this after updating and re-rooting, my phone then had a repeat error message 
...In a panic I turned off my phone, rebooted and I was stuck on the "droid eye" for 30 minutes 
....did a factory reset, and then my phone thought the account setup was my home screen 
...could not get past the accounts screen to save my life, after about 30 minutes, I realized I could get gmail 
. I downloaded launcher pro on my pc and gmailed that over, and installed it on my phone and it worked! 
. Had to re-root to unfreeze blurhome2.apk through root explorer
