Whats a good MP4 to DVD convertor burner?

some how nothing I got right now can make a DVD out of MP4s and my darn gen 1 xbox won't play raw MP4s.

I want to put stuff from uboob onto a disc for TV viewing.
 
jokes on me, not only is it slooooooooow, the DVD it makes also can't be read by my gen 1 xbox.
 
It may help if you could give us more information about your setup. What OS are you using? Whats your RAM, CPU other information that can help make the process relatively quick and painless. Does it need a 2 part system part a) convert mp4 to maybe avi? then part b) over to dvd?

I'm assuming the xbox doesn't have usb plugs that you could hook a usb drive to and just convert the file and not need to burn it. Also what app are you using to burn with the dvd app or something like nero?
 
an win2k and XP machine, both 2.2P4s with 1.5 gig of ram.

not worried about speed so much, just trying to put the MP4s on a DVD that will play in the gen1 xbox.

didn't think about a 2 part conversion.
