What's a good site to buy top up cards

As long as you don't let your account expire your $25 rate will stay the same!

Expire as in miss your due date by a couple days? Or expire as in go 90 days without topping up?

EDIT::
just saw the other thread. Ill keep an eye on that one

Soon VM is doing away with top-up cards. It was in the insider publication that was leaked and is posted around in the rate hike threads.

really? I don't see the post regarding no more top up cards in the price hike thread. What happens to those who use top up cards if they don't use or have a credit/debit card?

After reading and rereading, I think they're going to be like the old iTunes cards; Just a card that has no preset amount. You buy the card and at the time of purchase specify how much will be put onto the card.

I second that. I used them a couple of weeks ago and got two $25 VM Top Up cards for $48 using the code ca3p-1207.

Thanks for that. I top up 3 phones (mine and 2 kids @25 ea) so saving $3 or so per line is like a a pizza or ice cream or something :)

I tried calling mart and customer service sucked. They billed my debit card then cancelled my order. (the charge went away in a week). Went to walmart, got it for something like 24.75, for the $25 card. Got the code in 15 mins to half an hour. Will continue to use walmart for ease of use. Even though they're the big dogs

I've started buying mine at Walmart.com.
$24.58 and no tax.
They email me the code in about five minutes, I cut and paste it over at Virgin's site, and in fifteen minutes total I'm up and running again.
Compared to going into the store and buying it and paying tax, I save almost $2 a month. Which is basically an extra month free each year.

Just be aware, if you buy too many times a month from CallingMart they will have to call to verify the purchase. I manage both my own account as well as my wife's account, so I got flagged with the last purchase. They said it should only happen the first time though.

Just confirming. Going here and purchasing the $25 card will give me $25 that I can dump into my VM account, and that will pay my $25/mo phone bill. Correct?

I got flagged again at calling mart. I'm going to pay the extra 75 cents and get my cards at Target.

Edit: ez pz!
honored my call time request, verified who I was (by basically asking my billing address), asked how often I would load a month (and what carrier/s) and as soon as I hanged up, I got the pin in my email!

I will be using callingmart from now on! But hopefully that would be the first and last time they verify me and my purchase!

here's what i got after a consecutive purchase from callingmart. (using a verified paypal)

"Thank you for your purchase!

Your order was held for manual review* as this may be your first order or it did not pass all our risk control checks to be automatically fulfilled.

A customer service representative will be calling you at the phone number based on your order, after 9:30am at your local time to verify your order. Otherwise, you may email us the best time to call you within our business hours. Our business hours are from Mon to Fri, 9:30am to 12:00am EST and Sat-Sun, 10:00am to 10:00pm EST.

We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused and please note that this is only a one-time** phone verification afterwhich, your orders should be automatically fulfilled. "
i bought a $25 virgin mobile top-up initially using paypal. that was no problem - i got the code right away. after 30 minutes, i then proceeded to buy a $25 at&t gophone refill... and then that message appeared! needless to say, i dont have the code for the at&t go phone refill yet.

i emailed them - customerservice@callingmart.com - stating what's the best time for them to call tomorrow. no reply not even an autoreply email but hopefully they do honor my 'call time' request.

i will update as soon as this is resolved.

the site is really promising but this 'phone verification' is really an inconvenience imo!

here's what i bought btw:
*one penny less of a $3.50 savings! pretty neat!
$24.75 USD Virgin Mobile® Refill (Retail $25.00)
-$0.74 USD 'ca3p-1207' coupon (3.0% off)
--------
$24.01 USD

$24.25 USD AT&T GoPhone Prepaid Wireless Airtime Minutes Refill (Retail $25.00)

-$1.75 USD 'Rmdn11-10' coupon (For a Total 10% off Retail)
--------
$22.50 USD

I buy two topup cards at the same time each month from them and have not had this issue (knock on wood!!!).

Yeah, I should have bought them together in one purchase instead of buying again after 30 minutes. That probably triggered it! But all is well now! I'll start buying from them from now on. A buck or two saving adds up! :)

PM me for referral e-mail for Callingmart. I need some one else's referral e-mail address too so please PM we can start saving more money!
3% off: ca3p-1207

Just wanted to give everyone who uses CallingMart for top ups a heads up - according to CallingMart's facebook page:

"To All our Virgin Mobile Customers, coupon code ca3p-1207 will no longer apply to Virgin Mobile Refills after 5/30. Unfortunately Virgin Mobile is reducing their discounts to all re-sellers by June 1st, to the level that it won't be profitable even if we sell it at non-discounted price!"

In regard to whether they'll continue to offer the 1% discount they usually offer, they stated:

"Yes, will do our best to keep providing Virgin Mobile for our customers' convenience but it will be with no discounts ($25 refill will cost $25 and still no taxes or fees), there is a chance we can continue to provide the rewards points on them if we can at least break even."

Just wanted to advise anyone looking for top up cards to NOT buy them from Bestbuy.com. On the plus side, they didn't charge taxes or fees on it. I purchased one yesterday and it said that was "immediate delivery"...well, nothing could be further from "immediate". It has now been almost 24 hours and I still have not received my top up code. I checked my order status on their website and it still says that it is "in process". I called their customer service number yesterday afternoon to find out what the hold up was (at that point it had been 6 hours since I placed the order). They told me that their email system can sometimes take 24 hours or more and that I should just wait. Best Buy advertising their top up cards as being immediate but really taking up to 24 hours is deceptive. Just wanted to warn anyone considering purchasing through them!
