whats up. i was flashing and testing some new stuff out, i seen that my music player isnt loud enough. went and got this n7 player and wow :eek:.. but i have a question to ask and hey all is needed . question is , if you go into the phone files with root explorer or any other system file explorer. go to the system then to media and select notifications .ok in that file you see all the system sound as ogg . well if your esteem is like mines it is the same. well i was bored and changed all my sounds to mp3 and wav . hahaha funny but i noticed wav and mp3 doesnt sound like this crap ogg . so what is the best and please dont say ogg . :afraid: this ogg is to low, i work outside and need to hear my phone over a loud air ratchet so help me out.
 
It also depends on the levels it was recorded at. I have some mp3s that just sound muffled, then the next song comes on and it loud and makes my speaker sound like crap with crackling. I have 2 music ringtones in my system > media folder that I turned into oggs from mp3s and placed in there after deleting all the stock GSE ringtones. One is loud and the other is even louder. So really it does effect that much on what you format it too.
 
I wonder how Volume+ works for some people because when I bought it, I was upset because all it did was cancelled out the bass :(

True it does..but for B wanted it for it should be good. Doesn't cancel the bass out with headphones and the EQ and EQ presets are :thumbup:
 
Here is another app you may want to try it has a built in amplifer also a 7 band could be more equalizer and a nice ui with themes.
