What's for dinner ?

I broke out the frozen vac-sealed turkey left over from Thanksgiving today. Tonight it was turkey, gravy, dressing, and noodles.
Tomorrow will be leftover letovers... turkey n noodles. :) Whatever is remaining will be a treat for the dogs.

I've been living off leftovers from all the things I cooked last weekend. This morning I made my son a duck egg omelet and used the last slice of ham and cheddar cheese. I guess it is time to hit the grocery store and make some fresh dinner tonight

I made vegetable soup out of the remaining roast, potatoes, and carrots. I added some okra... a favorite of both the wife and I, petite diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and spices. It was very tasty. So tasty that I froze the remainder for soup some time in the future.

Tonight I made taco salad. Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, red kidney beans, ripe olives, and seasoned fried ground beef. Tossed everything in a large bowl and served with shredded cheddar, crumpled Dorito nacho cheese chips, and hot sauce. Makes a great salad!

Wife picked up a tub of chicken salad at Costco. I don't know what all was in it but it was quite tasty for something different. Chicken salad sandwich on wheat and some chips for dinner tonight.

I'm thinking tuna fish and bread: a sandwich.
I'm doing sandwiches tonight as well along with some tomato soup.

Hmmm... ...my son's baseball lesson was moved from 7PM to 6PM, immediately followed by his basketball game being moved from 3:30 to 4:30. I don't get home from work until after 5, so I'll be doing a cannonball run to get him from the game to the lesson where I originally had 2 1/2 hours to spare.

Yep... ...looks like sammiches for me too.

You are living the good life my friend. Oh how I miss those days. Enjoy your sammy

So I assembled my sammiches (ham, bologna, salami, pepperoni, onions, cheese) and tossed them in the air fryer at 400. Then put on the mayo, lettuce, and tomato.
