Fried fish sounds so good to me but I dislike the odors left in the house. There is no local eatery that serves a good fish platter. I'm not a big fan of baked fish but it will likely be my fish option if we have fish. A chicken stir fry sounds pretty good as well. I'll let the boss decide.
Last night I grilled out some bone in porkchops. We had some green beans with the chops.
The package of chops were marked way down for immediate sale and were very tasty. Now I feel obligated to make something out of the leftover chops for tonight's dinner. 🤣
That sounds good Pit! I'm tossing the my leftover chops. They just aren't calling my name and I have a whopping $8 invested in the package. The leftover chops owe me nothing. Instead of reinventing the chop, I'm grilling out some cheese burgers. I'll likely just have some chips with them but I have some frozen sweet potato fries that I could bake.
Oh, I do love a good cheeseburger.
We've got to clear out the fridge to make room for stuff that's sure to arrive when the Boss Lady gets out of the hospital after her back surgery. She's already told everyone not to send anything because we've got 2 freezers full of food.
I fixed one of my favorite childhood dinners tonight. I had to do an expresso job of it but it still tasted good. I had salmon cakes and black eyed peas and onions. The salmon was canned and so were the peas. And. it's really not quite the same meal without some cornbread. But hey...
I fixed taco salad. A garden salad blend with taco seasoned ground beef, red kidney beans, crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos, and shredded cheddar. I prefer hot sauce for my salad dressing and the wife does a traditional salad dressing.
