What's for dinner ?

A few nights ago , mom made sweet potatoes, chicken and cranberry sauce,
last night was left over pizza, the night before was pizza,
tonight up in the air.

Chicken, sweet potato, cranberry sauce and a small baggette roll with my meal.
My mother had soup.

I had some fairly miserable frozen breaded chicken breast pieces and a rice and broccoli medley.

The chicken was chewy and the the breading had a nasty flavor. Kroger sold a decent frozen breaded chicken pieces but they either quit making it or my Kroger store quit selling it. I love good ol fried chicken. With the kids all grown and gone, I'm the only fried chicken eater left. It's easy enough to fry chicken but it's a hassle for just one eater and the odor of hot oil lingers in the house. We try not to fry anything in the house nowadays. Besides stinking, it's mostly unhealthy.

Home made vegetable soup. I'm having home made buttered cornbread with my soup. Yes, it's true, I am a weirdo that was raise by weirdo parents from the South.

I was raised on garden grown black eyed peas and cornbread !

We had chilli mac with angelhair pasta yesterday, the day before was turkey with cranberries and broccilli.

We had home made chef salad that included ripe olives, garden onions, and garden fresh tomatoes, iceberg, radish, shredded carrot, tuna, boiled egg, and shredded cheddar.

Had wayy t00 many chicken nuggets, since I was h0me al0ne and wanted 0ther then pizza and s0mething that was n0t t00 time c0nsuming.

I think we're going to have hotdogs tonight.

Assuming the Boss Lady didn't give them ALL to our daughter.

We are having chicken and noodles. Frozen egg noodles, boiled and diced chicken thighs, cream of chicken soup, thyme, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Just like mom used to make except I'm not making the noodles and I'm using soup and not thickening the chicken broth. Hey, the chicken is the same and so are the spices.

My wife is battling a bad cold, so I'm making homemade chicken noodle soup.

We had a hotdog cookout at my father-in-law's house with about half of the extended family.
No idea what we're doing tonight.
I'm gonna vote for bagels.

I got some good pics of Mexican breakfast and Mexican lunch, I have made, butt what is Mexican food without beer ?

Last night I fixed sausage gravy and biscuits. The wife did her own thing. I'm smoking a chuck roast for dinner tonight. I plan to bake some garlic tater chunks to go with the roast.

I thinly sliced the remaining smoked chuck roast and zapped it with some spicy bbq sauce and served it on hamburger buns.
