Someone please come up with a phone/contacts/dialer app that's actually worth using.
The OEM app is fine if you're sitting perfectly still in perfect light, and have plenty of time on your hands, but I'm constantly on the go, and need something that's second nature. Buying a phone without dedicated hardware buttons is something I've come to regret. I'm coping, but hopefully a smart dev will feel the same way and overhaul it.

Yeah, I've been one of those people with no success with JIT...until now!

I installed it on Pete's 2.1 BB v0.4, and I've gotten no FCs. I did find the browser to be acting quirky, so I scrapped it for Dolphin, which is very nice! I have AdFree, so I don't see any of the ads people are bugging about.

As for performance, I'm seeing about 12Mflops now, compared to 10.5 before. That's about a 14% increase, which isn't all that great, but considering it was free, I'll take it.

Phone's still snappy, LWP and all. There's still lots of untapped potential in JIT methinks...

JIT, JIT, JIT...

I love it and hate it at the same time.

Turns out my apps don't mind it...except the phone app does. I got a call the other day and mid ring my phone locks up, the vibrate is still on...so it's just sitting there, vibrating for like 15-20s before the thing restarts.

I've since removed JIT.
