Congrats, I guess? Glad Tmo works so well for you. I don't even know a single person that uses them so I guess they have poor coverage in my area. Sprint on the other hand has great coverage and cheap unlimited plans.

Nothing much at all... I don't think I could name a carrier I like...

EDIT: Scrap that, I quite like GiffGaff...

For now, but AT&T is buying T-Mobile. Isn't AT&T charging a twenty buck fee for tethering?

Is it just me, or is the tone of the OP sorta "TAKE THAT BITCHES"???

If this is just friendly comparisons then I have to say the only reason I'm still with Versizon is because they gave me unlimited data for $9.99. If not for that I was thinking of going to to either Sprint or T-Mobil. I suspect once I get a 4G device I will be going to a different carrier because I don't want to be capped at either 2 or 5 gigs.

Verizon is the most expensive, but when I switched over to them they were far and away the best provider. But that was 6 years ago, so hopefully some of the others have caught up because I like to keep my options open.

But, if this is some sort of 'prove yourself worthy' thread, well that's just silly.

Verizon I can surf the web and make calls at the same time. SO your info is WRONG.:D

How are you doing that? Must be in a WiFi hotspot, otherwise CDMA can't do voice and data at the same time. In a WiFi zone, the data can over WiFi, but if you are on a straight cellular connection with Verizon, you can't do voice and data at the same time.

The Thunderbolt can supposedly do simultaneous voice and data on 3G. Verizon's LTE can also do voice and data at the same time.

How else would I be doing it.

He never said how now did he :p

I guess the comfort of knowing that I'll have reliable 3G wherever I travel in the nation.

True, kind of a technicality there, but this was about your cellular network, and your WiFi isn't part of that. Just that when you say you can do simultaneous on Verizon 3G, you could mislead people into thinking that it works just like it does with the iPhone on AT&T. Just wanted to make sure it was clear, and that i didn't miss some kind of update that let it work on verizon 3G!

It's cheap.
No contract.
Coverage is great.

What more does one need from a carrier?

The only thing I can think about sprint is that they were the first carrier to fake 4G.
Otherwise they:
Do not have a good selection of Android phones.
Their customer service are idiots.
They do not have good coverage (that is, if you live in the country side).

Verizon. They give me a signal at my house where as ATT did not. Funny though, ATT gave me a signal at work and Verizon doesn't.
