Help What's the best ANTIVIRUS for the NOTE 2?

Have had android phones for years never had a problem so never used any anti-virus EVER.............now a PC with Windows is a different beast and everyone should have up to date virus along with anti-spyware installed

Ummmmmmmmmmm.
You should google android security holes.

Especially things that can break ur sandbox safty.

Belive me if someone wanted to they could mess with ur phone HARD.

It's all just a ploy and scaremongering to purchase their software for your mobile,mobile security is now massive and these companies need to justify their business and make even more money, naturally you have to be careful where you download your apps from, but this also applies to your home computer I have used AVG for at least 15 years on the PC and never had a problem

The point is, if it has a processor and ram, and optionally storage it can be hacked, virused, ect.

But I guess ignorance truly is bliss.

If that's the case, you missed casarosa's point which you quoted.

The point is, why support a company who's main existence depends on threats. It's not in their best interest to completely eradicate the threat. I will install security software as I deem necessary, as for the time being, it isn't. I know what to avoid and I know I'll be safe as long as I'm vigilant.

Ever heard of the saying : "Create a problem, offer a solution and gain a customer."

On the other hand people who don't know will be scared out of their wits. In this case ignorance is far from bliss.

Common sense when installing stuff that isn't from the Play Store and not visiting fap sites that are obviously a scam will keep you safe.

Any system I buy will get an antivirus software. They're not bulletproof, but can save a lot of grief if you've ever gotten infected. It's kind of like locking your front door: a thief can break your window and still get in, but there are always easier targets. I have criticized Apple users for believing their devices were virus-proof (they're not), and I cannot hold Android to a different standard. There's always some hole, somewhere.

I personally use Norton 360 which sucked last year with slow scans and buggy notifications, but is much better this year...faster and generally unobtrusive. I found Lookout to be a good performer as well, but a little slower than Norton, but that said, I haven't tested Lookout for some months now. I see no real negative impact on battery life with Norton 360 running.
