Root whats the deal?

i have bionix-v and i was looking on xda forums and seen there is bionix-v 1.2 what the difference been the two and what the wiping and non wiping( is it were it doesn't erase whats you have on your phone when flashing to and from roms without backing it up).

Non wiping version will update everything to the current ROM without changing any of your settings, apps, etc.

Even if I flashed the Gingerbread one and NOT the TW?
As I'm running TW now in Bionix V...

It will probably take TW off because the launcher is most likely updated to suit the new framework.

The non wiping one is pretty much the same as the wiping one. The only big difference is that all your data like apps and stuff are still there. Allthough if you do the non wiping one over a non bionix version you may have a few minor issues with some apps force closing on you.
