Whats the point..

I'm not sure that anyone has a virgin branded one yet.
I know but all i want to see is if one have it, I want to compare cause i have a feeling you might not be getting as many apps on the Virgin Branded one then the Sprint one unless you can find the same apps that the Sprint branded one has. I would love if someone could cure my suspicions.

Basically what im' saying is you buying a phone that is 3G capable,4G capable, has a 3D camera, Dual core and made by HTC. It's more like you want the phone just cause of the name brand but not using it completely. Where you could have just as well bought a HTC phone with a 8 MP camera, A dual core pro. and you will have your speed and everything that you need in the phone without the thing you wouldn't need or use.. In just a man that dont like to waste money and put everything i have to its full use. but like i said before that's me

This isn't

Well i never trust what virgin says if i don't see proof first. cause on their website it says it comes with only 6 or 8 apps.

I'm lucky to live in a city with 4G coverage, but even if I didn't I still would have bought this phone over the Triumph.

Bigger screen, faster dual core processor, working A-GPS (and faster GPS locks in general,) ICS, better reception, better dev support and overall quality from HTC, etc. And FWIW, I'm pulling faster speeds on 3G too. Need I go on? :D

I don't know what the Evo 3D includes, but my Sprint-branded Evo V didn't come with much, and I prefer it that way. Every carrier-supplied app I've used has been a shoddy piece of crap, and/or a way to trick non-technical users into paying for otherwise free services (VZ Navigator is a prime example of both). It's a freaking Android; it's not hard to find whatever kind of app you might need.

I didn't buy my phone for 4G (I do have coverage, but I'm almost always on wifi) or 3D; I bought it because it's by far the best prepaid phone on the market. The fact that it includes those features is a nice bonus. I don't use my car's cigarette lighter or child seat anchors either, but them being there doesn't bother me in the slightest. Same thing.

Is this guy really saying the Evo V isn't worth buying because you might not be able to use 4g but the phone is still a top-of-the-line phone for only $300 with no contract and for only $35 a month? You could never use the 4g or the 3D for that matter, and this phone still blows away almost everything on the market with the exception of a handful of phones that are several times the price for the phone and plan. So you're saying it's better to pay $650 for an iPhone that has NO 4g so that you don't have to not use that feature than to pay $300 for an Android phone that has more features that you may or may not use?

No product is marketed to just one person but it is Marketed to one cluster of people fulfilling their needs Electronic wise like, People need a long lasting battery but don't really use a camera so they stick with a certain phone that gives them just that. But i was talking Hard ware wise and not the bloat ware they have, you can easily disable/delete facebook and its counter parts. And yea i know that VM dont make money of that. Most of that money go to Google and HTC and who ever help made the product but if you don't use most things why waste money on the new things if you not really gonna use most of it. Thats like buying a pair of shoes just to look good knowing you not really gonna wear them for that long.

Weddings, Prom, Dates, Etc....

I bought this phone simply because it has better specs than most of the phones I see anywhere for that price.
Of course if you feel like it's not worth it, Then likely it's not for you.

To each their own right?

All of us feel the need to have the phone that fits into our lives.
Personally having a 3D capable phone with dual core and 4G... It's very nice.
Even my 3G runs faster and more comprehensively.

This phone to me is like buying a little piece of happiness.

bloatware is a non issue. in ics you can completely disable basically everything. and you can hide icons of others in most launchers anyway.

and lets be real, id buy 2 evos just to never have to use the absolutely dreadful touch screen on my triumph for the rest of my life.

Ok this is for all the people that bought the Evo V 4G and don't live in a place that is 4G capable. whats the point of buying a phone that has faster speeds but you can't fully utilize and reap it's benefits? Why would you spend that much money on something you cant fully use? You could have saved your $279.99+ and got another phone that you could fully utilize its capabilities etc.. I'm not trying to be a mood killer but i'm just wondering

I'll get no 4g whatsoever. I'm buying it just based on specs.

Never said it was prepaid cause you know on prepaid we get the dilapidated 5MP cameras instead of 8MP but no surprise there. And i just thought people on prepaid just wanted to save money or feared commitment Lol

Only a few have 8meg, even today.

This camera isn't bad. It's not the 8meg on the Evo 4g (that was an AWESOME camera), but not bad.

Yea i know, only a few of the truly high end phones have 8MP like the EVO and EVO 4G LTE or Xperia s which has a 12MP camera if i'm not mistaken. But they put 8MP's or more on the phones they want to make a LOT of money on.

This phone only got 5 because of the 3d aspect, otherwise it would have been an 8 or 10. The phone it replaced (Evo 4G) had an 8.

I would gladly give up 3d for it.

Yea i know and so would I... I was going to move over to Sprint and get the EVO 4G LTE and pay 70 dollars every month just so i can get the EVO and its lovely specs minus ICS (i believe) But i dont think i will just yet being as though LTE don't work in my area just yet.

What do you mean minus ics?

I was going to buy this phone but I heard it has 2 microphones, I don't think I speak loud enough to use 2 microphones so I don't really feel like this is worth it, letting an entire microphone go to waste and all :(

well for me its the best phone on the pay as you go market right now and the 4g is out a mile from me which is kool because at home i use wifi 40Mbps why use anything else lol
All yeah Its Made Be No Other HTC !

I was talking about the EVO 4G LTE, i dont think that phone has ICS (i may be wrong). But the EVO V does have ICS. Just to clear anything up. And just cause it has 2 microphones that dont mean you shouldnt buy it. That just means you will have better recorded audio. Ya know?
