The NOAA forecast page was 5" yesterday, today it's 9" 
It's going to snow all night and I'm pretty sure nary a road will be plowed. Get home safe and stay there you kids in the path.

Glad you made it. No fun driving like that. At least my hard surfaces didn't freeze when I got snowed on. Just about all melted now. Just a bit here and there. I'm not sorry to see it go.

After living in the US for 37 years, I moved last year to the caribbean(dominican republic). Weather here is amazing most of the year. It's a sunny 86 Fahrenheit today.

Thanksgiving Day started out around 20°F and never got above 26°F. Last night it went down to 10°F (that's around -12°C). The pond is frozen solid. It's the first time I've had to shut it down in November. Some years I can keep it going until Christmas, but usually it's around the 2nd week of December when it stays cold long enough for the waterfall to freeze.

It was in the low sixties here yesterday and should be warmer today. However, the warmth is on the front end of rain. Barometer is falling like a rock.

Well, now I have a flash flood watch 'til tomorrow afternoon. At least it's not snow!
The snow that fell this weekend is melting with the temps in the low forties. The big plus is the winds are calm. The 40+mph winds this weekend was no fun.

29 and the wind chill is 16. That's about as good as it's going to get today. The wind will pick up and make it way more brrrr.

So I have been in Tennessee for a few days. My truck has what is called a sleeper berth, it's basically a living sleeping, changing area. There is a bunk bed where drivers sleep. So on each bed are two little windows you can open to let air in
So Sunday I have the windows rolled down, the windows in the sleeper breth open. Sunday night when I went to bed I closed all the windows expect the two windows on top.
Since it had been fairly warm out. I turned off the truck. I have blankets I figured if it got cold out I would be good.
