What's the weather like where you are?

Not bad for an American, Mike. At least he got the correct hemisphere. ;)

We got about 5" of the white stuff yesterday.

It was clear and 9°F (-13°C) this morning. The real cold stuff won't move in until this afternoon. Then we get -4°F with wind chills to -27° (-20°C/-33°C) Still warmer than Chicago, though.
No snow down here, just cold :) Thanks for the consern down here :) oh Chicago, Chicago, I always get confused when someone saids the big city, instead of down here.

Just sayin'

I'm very happy that we've had rain--lots and lots of glorious rain--that's finally put a punctuation mark on the end of our drought. It was officially declared over in 2017, yet some places--like Arcadia where I live--continued mandatory watering restrictions.

The recent rain--which has added some 600 billion gallons of water to our reservoirs--combined with extremely heavy snowfall in our mountains, has pretty much done it. :D

Down here in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley, it's sunny and 60-ish today--with more rain in the forecast. :)

11 degrees in clear lake Iowa, took a screenshot saw the town name and thought it sounded familiar. Clear lake is the town where buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J.P Richardson perished in a plane crash in 1959 and which later became the inspiration for the song "the day the music died"

It's snowing as I type. Working out of town, I quit early and drove home though heavy snow, only to find it snowless here. I guess it followed me home for it's snowing now. Around a half foot is the current prediction. Snow is a welcome change from the freezing rain that's been this winter's MO.
