What's the weather like where you are?

I'm inland, and with the temps in the single digits the snow isn't sticking to anything high (i.e. trees, powerlines, etc.) and just blows and drifts on the ground, so no widespread power outages. A lot of drifting, but that's an annoyance and one I'll take over having no power. The coastal folks, they get brutalized in storms like this. The blizzard a couple weeks ago there were houses fully encased in ice from the wind driven sea spray.

Well, it looks like I'll be missing two days of work in a row thanks to this ice storm.

And with the local government shut down, public transit suspended and schools closed today, it's basically a frozen wasteland out here.

I don't mean to upset you guys, but I'm enjoying a spring-like day. It's sunny, blue sky, mid forties. Got the back door open for some fresh air in this house :)

"Mwahahahahah!!! A-hahahahahaha!!! A-hahahahahaha!!!!"

Ice and more ice in Greenville, SC.. with an interesting story.

Slipping and sliding on the sidewalk on the way to pick up a sandwich:

Pedestrian: "You look british, are you with Ringo Star's group in town today?"
Me: "Now that would be a different day...."

Temp is -6F and "feels like" -27F. I'd rather have mountains of snow than feel like my face is going to instantly freeze as soon as I step outside.
