What's the weather like where you are?

This is north florida, we had a hard freeze wed night. But not too bad last night

It's currently 36 degrees F with a lot of rain in my area at the moment. It should gradually warm up to the mid 40's as the rain continues throughout the day.

The forecast for next week looks promising with the weather finally clearing up. Hopefully, the worst of this polar vortex has moved on.

Let me paraphrase Phil Connors about this winter ...

"There is no way this winter is ever going to end, as long as this polar vortex keeps coming from Canada. I don't see any other way out. It's got to be stopped."

Yay, 4-6" of snow followed by up to 1/2" of freezing rain then straight into single digit temps. At least I got the three feet of snow off my roof, my shed, and my camper. I still have a moat around my house, so we'll see how that goes.

You must be inland. I'm just above the CT RI border. Looks like the rain snow line is just going to clear us and then retreat to the coast. I'm actually pretty relaxed on this storm. I don't need to be anywhere tomorrow. I have the snow off the roof. That was my biggest fear. I had cleared a lot with the roof rake, but I couldn't reach the top 8-10'. Once soaked with rain 3' of snow would weigh about as much as concrete. Glad that's gone. I have probably 150 lbs of salt, so I can clear the driveway when this stops..

Our average temp for February is 13° below normal at right around 17°. That's over 40% off. ~brrrr~
