What's the weather like where you are?

Well, I did something I haven't done in years: I had to drive through honest-to-Bob rain. As in traffic coming to a standstill because you can't see [insert expletive of your choice here].
Of course, this isn't in middle of nowhere, CA. Rather, I am in WV on a road-trip.

Oooooo, they may be packing a wallop.

Our little league rules stated that if lightning was seen or forecast within (x) miles, game was automatically cancelled.
We hear thunder, everyone in the dougouts for 5 minutes, see lightning, off the field, game called. I interpret that to mean if I see a flash without necessarily seeing a bolt, because, well, tall metal fences surround the field.

The sky's clear, it's been quite dry lately, and it's rather chilly here for late May, it's around five degrees outside. Before you go, "Whoa!" remember the fact that we use degrees centigrade...

The physical weather is about 80 degrees with sun shining bright but my emotional weather it's cloudy and rainy.

I didn't think it got that hot there. I thought you had rain every day, sort of like Seattle on a national scale.

And 99.9% of the time you'd be perfectly correct. Just my luck to lay down some nice new vulnerable turf (or sod as you may know it), and then get a sustained period of unbroken sun, with not a cloud in the sky, and the hottest June day for 40 years!
We're hotter than the Med here!!!
