Warm (70s and 80s), dry (8% humidity), very windy. Red flag conditions that are fueling multiple huge fires here in southern California.
I think you may be understating that. I was watching the pictures and video on twitter yesterday of the one near The Getty. That crap is frightening.
You're not kidding! My cousin works at one of the hospitals at UCLA, and takes the 405 back and forth. Yesterday morning her commute was hellish! Thankfully, we're all safe (our homes) in terms of distance from any of the fires.
Shuffled the rototiller and lawn tractor to the back and fired up the snowblower, so, yeah, I'm ready for the weekend.

My sister just sent a text, it's snowing at her house. Not just a flurry, really snowing. Oh. She lives in Austin, TX.
I had a daughter that lived in Chandler for years. Needless to say, we spent a lot of Christmas holidays there.I think it was 75 today, nice and sunny after some morning clouds. I’m in Phoenix right now, this is the perfect time of year to be here.
We are forecast 1-3" of the white stuff tonight. My brother, on the other hand, was just issued a "code purple" warning in southern Cal. He's not too worried, though. The last round of wildfires s few years ago left most of the surrounding area barren so there's not much to burn yet.

It's snowing!
We already have a few inches on the ground.
The snow is starting to stick now. Maybe 1/4 inch on sidewalks and yards.
The snows not supposed to get heavy until 4pm and last until tomorrow morning.

Started here a bit ago, it's sticking to the grass but not the roads yet. Nothing measurable, just a heavy dusting so far.
But, but...can't I have bourbon? Or are implying I'm no lady ('cause you'd be so way right!)?

Just checked the Weather Channel. They're saying Historic Storm hits the Northeast with corresondent coverage from Fanuiel Hall.
Silly Weather Channel. 4-6 inches is a dusting around here. Snow in Austin TX though... That needs some coverage. I bet their losing their minds about now. Thinking of cancelling schools and stuff...
