Yup, it is pretty much generalized across the USA.
Here in Okie land, it is touching 100.5 in the shade, currently 97.9 on my digi gauge, and 76% humidity...
the humidity is the killer here.
Just yesterday, at OSU we lost a very fine young fellow of 21. He collapsed at the end of basketball practice.
heat prostration is not just for us old codgers, it is something that everyone, regardless of age must be made aware of.
EMSA, our ambulance service, just reported 171 cases of heat prostration..
