What's the weather like where you are?

People keep wanting it to get REALLY cold like this "to kill off all the insect eggs" - but no matter how cold it gets or for how long, our bug lights are going like fireworks in April & May, trying to kill off the early generation of skeeters. What are we killing, then? Mosquito tourists just traveling through?
 
Heck of a forecast for us.
Feels like I'm on a rollercoaster for temperature.

Speaking of, I discoverd a bug bite on my stomach the other day.
 
13 degrees out, with the wind 13 mph, nw wind gust is 20 mph, bright and sunny out, no snow or rain.

Maybe I sometimes do not look at the stomach too much though on it. I will let it just linger more before taking care of it..
 
60 degrees here, no snow anymore. Now we're just deluged with rain! And rain... and rain... but I'm not going to complain because our lakes and rivers were really low. Thank the Lord for a full reservoir! Full with plenty to share!
 
It's another soggy boggy foggy day here. Temps are in the mid thirties with zero wind. So far .05" of moisture has been registered at my station. 99% humidity seems to be the new norm around here. :(
 
It's a clear sunny day and already 40° out with a bit of North wind. The high today is forecasted to be in the upper fifties to the lower sixties. I am excited! I'm sick of the cold already and need some sunshine!
 
It had to get into the upper sixties but I never checked. It was nice enough that cleaned up all of the sticks in my yard and raked all of the leaves out of my patio area. I bagged all of the debris up and got it to the curb for my Wednesday trash day. I never put on shorts but I was tempted. It was perfect short sleeve weather and made working outside a blast. I even found time to replace a carburetor gasket on my back pack blower. It was way too nice to be inside!
 
It rained just a bit Thursday evening and then actually had a thunderstorm move through in the early hours Friday. It misted off and on yesterday and today seems to be stuck in the same wet groove. Less than an inch total has fallen this week. The ponds and lakes around here are still showing the signs of the lack of rain of the last two years. A little rain now and then is very welcome.
